This paper presents the findings of an exploratory study on diver demand for visiting a marine sanctuary in the Philippines. It reports the results of a pilot survey among international divers on their maximum willingness to pay (WTP) to enter a marine sanctuary. Furthermore, it identifies factors that affect the level of WTP. Finally, it estimates potential revenues from entrance fee collection.
