African Wildlife Consultative Forum 2026

The AWCF is one of Africa’s largest and most significant annual wildlife forums, that brings together senior Government officials and Wildlife management authorities, private hunting industry, community stakeholders, researchers and conservation partners to advance dialogue and action on sustainable use-based wildlife conservation practices across Africa.

Participants typically include Director level Government delegates from the SADC region and beyond, leadership of Operators and Professional Hunting Associations of Africa, International professional hunting associations, community representatives and CBNRM support organization as well as expert from U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, IUCN, conservation NGOs, international experts, and wildlife biologists.
